DLogM LUT (DJI) wayy too dark

DJI LUTs are pretty clinical looking and don't match. The Skygrades LUTs match between Dog and Dlog-M - as long as you match your exposure.

A Fix for HDR Mode & Best Settings for New Firmware

Hey Ron, super sorry for the trouble. I send out an email with a User Guide Video, but sometimes those go to spam. Here's the link on how to use LUTs in Premire pro and FCPX, plus a few more tips. Like Pappy said above, it may be different depending on your editing program. If you have any...

How is the Film Poets Noise removal pack different from Neat Video's?

Hey, the two products go hand in hand. Neat Video is an advanced noise reduction plugin. Most noise reduction plugins just guess at what the noise is and try to smooth it out. Most are horrible. Some are pretty decent, like Resolve's. Neat Video is superior because you feed it the noise...

Film Poets LUT - Drone Specific?

Hey Terry, I think we chatted over email, but for anyone that’s curious - yes, each lut is drone specific to match the sensor and profile. They are easy to apply and if you’re unhappy it’s a quick refund. Mavic Air 2 SkyGrades presets are coming soon.

Hey, it's super easy in premiere. Just add two instances of Lumetri color (from the effects menu) and apply each LUT in the creative section. Blend with the sliders below and you're good to go. Have fun!

So glad to hear that you guys like the SkyGrades LUTs. Just a tip - the Natural and Cinema LUTs are designed to be used alone or blended together. Apply two LUTs, one Natural and One Cinema, and dial them in so they equal 100% in any ratio, this gives you unlimited control over your film while...

Good graded image with Dlog-M mode compared to Normal mode ?

Good question. With any log profile there will be a very specific gamma curve, saturation boost, and in Dlog-m’s case, hue shifts that need to happen to put it back to a proper looking image. Sure these can be eyeballed, but it’s an inconsistent way of grading. I like to apply one of the three...

Good graded image with Dlog-M mode compared to Normal mode ?

A good way to think about is this : The color profile is a bucket, and the scene (your shot) goes into that bucket. If the scene can fit into the normal color profile bucket, then no problem, but if it cannot you'll have clipped highlights, crushed shadows, and even some strange saturation...

    Barrel distortion (Curved horizons)

The correction profile I made was copied from DJIs own internal correction on the normal profile. It’s all All Full fov clips, no need to worry about distortion if you’re using this. Will have an hq add on soon. Here’s the direct link to the free download : Mavic 2 Pro Distortion Correction

    Barrel distortion (Curved horizons)

Barrel distortion correction should exact and has to take into account the falloff from the center. You can make the edges straight and still have distortion closer to the middle. It's best to do it once with a chart and then always apply those settings.
