I have been lucky enough to fly bothA phantom for pro and a Mavic that I own I am onvacation in Costa Rica with my Mavic andevery drone owner I have met has said they did not want to travel with the phantom and now wishes they had MAVIC Is the best all around drone out there hands down

I believe it is national parks you can't fly state parks are fine

Made it to 4500m but thats as far as i felt comfortable

No issues in airports so far and we moved once while here so we were clear from US - San Jose San -Jose to Tabor Security in San Jose failed to pick up my full water bottle in security. In other words flying is not an issue with the Mavic no questions asked...

Currently in costa rica just made it to flora blanca from Alajuela got some AMAZING footage i will share when back in the states

from Detroit to CO no one even seemed slightly concerned. glad I got one trial, headed to coasta rica in a few weeks that will be the test.

I use final cut pro seems to work well also has a built in stabilization so now even mediocre filming turns out really good. And is available for free all over the web

I catch mine often! been bit twice... But those were poor judgement of indoor sessions catching mavic is not that difficult 1.shoulder height 2. Lower like your gunna land 3.grab base and hold stick down 4.let it slow down If it tries to compensate it will try to rip up let go it only goes...
