Cheers I will try that. I have two friends who pretty much always hand catch it. They said to avoid the sensors also. Or just to turn off obstacle avoidance. I certainly will be more careful in the future

Oh... OK I will go into the app and try and find that setting... I thought that landing protection was a good thing, and I guess it would be if it malfunctioned over water or something. I really wish it came with more instructions. That, or I should be watching a hell of a lot of tutorials...

If it's 1.2 metres from the ground i'm not too worried. I wouldn't do it from the sky =)

Yes I will defo be trying to master the RC instead of relying on the app. I've heard that the app doesn't run too well with android, but i'm yet to have a hiccup prior to this. I will be testing out the RC force landing asap... With a few metres clearance that is =D

Hey everyone! =) So i've had a bit of an incident. I flew my drone to capture the sunset and it was absolutely magical. On 'returning to home', however, it refused to land. It hovered at its 1.2 metres for several minutes. I couldn't press the land or the home button as they were greyed out...
