Learn how to fly on a smaller, cheap quad - practice different orientations daily for a few weeks. Also, get familiar with drone laws:-)

I own two types of aircraft - the one's that I haven't crashed, and the one's that I've crashed! Fortunately, I've never crashed my Mavic Pro:-)

In Canada yes, it's illegal, unless you qualify for and get and SFOC (special flight operators certificate). Events such as weddings are very tricky and difficult, in terms of staying compliant with Transport Canada's SFOC acceptance criteria. Also, there are so many moving parts to a wedding...

I've got it down to an art, setting up and putting everything back in the bag when done. It takes me one and a half minutes to get everything back in the bag. So I'm happy with the fly more combo:)

Yes, a Lipo at 53% will be susceptible to sudden drops in voltage if you spike the throttle, especially in sport mode where you can access more power from your battery. My suggestion is to tame down your throttle inputs, and fly smoothly, so the battery doesn't dip down below the critical...
