Ive always been too paranoid to fly too far anyway. Ivebeen at this for 2 years now and my sphincter tightens up everytime I lose sight for a few minutes. I cant imagine a new flyer would relish the idea of losing sight of 1500.00. That takes practice.

Of course direct from thumb drive isno problem, but I choose to do post flight editing. I am rarely satisfied with the video as it comes direct from the Drone. I transfer my stuff to my computers.

Why. are you recording your flight on mov if you dont lie it? The settings on yourDJI app will allow you to record in mp4. It doesnt matter to me, but my problem is similar. If I record in actual 4kk...my Vizio 4k TV wont play it accurately. I think it has to do with the "middle man" my Mac...

I had that jerky problem with the old mavic pro. I just don’t think that the 4K at 4096 is ahead of the technology in our MacBook pros and flat screen TVs. Like u said I could play back from cache and it was beautiful. But I’m gonna dbl check my cards. That sounds logical.

LOtsa folks use imovie BUt I wanted to mention a great playback vehicle..its called 5kplayer. At 5kplayer.com. Many videos that had trembled and jittered with VLC, Quicktime etc..played smooth on this. Very versatile app.
