I bought mavic at release flew it about 6 times , but got very ILL.
Just got it out again and it wouldn't update . I think I'll have to connect to computer if I want to update .
It seams to fly perfect , I'm sure I'm missing many fixtures but before I got ILL there were many complaints at new flying restrictions and people going backwards . Then they did an update stopping people going to previous downloads .
Would you fly it as is or update to latest software ??

You can't ask for more than perfect. DJI still has a problem with quality control in their software so you are rolling the dice with an upgrade. You can check to see what "features" you don't have and decide whether upgrading is worth the risk.

It might also help to know what firmware your Mavic is currently on in case there are any known bugs.

I would leave it as is if it is flying happy, no gimbal resets, no quizes, no lockdowns for almost nothing airports.
I haven't updated anything in over a year and a half. Still sweet, and no nagging issues...
