Autopilot freezes when I connect it to my Mavic

I just bought Autopilot for my iPad Mini 2. Whenever I connect it to the Mavic it completely freezes and crashes.

When not connected to the Mavic the app is behaving normally.

Has anyone had similar issues or know what to do to fix it?

Hmm seems I've found the answer elsewhere on this site and it's firmware related:

We recently discovered an issue that may cause Autopilot to become unresponsive when first connecting to an aircraft. The root cause of this issue has not been identified, but it appears to be related to the recent firmware updates.

Annoying. Looks like I won't be able to use the app until they fix this issue.

I did notice an IOS App update today for Autopilot

Just checked and apparently v4.1 (containing the freeze fix) was released last night! I will have to update and hopefully that's the issue fixed

I am surprised Autopilot will work at all on a mini2! I am sure it requires more horsepower for anything complex
