Thank you! I didn't visit that place so many times, but whenever I was there it was relatively calm for the standards of the Irish coast

Living in Cork all my life and never knew that about Barleycove .

Beautiful but I bet that's a harsh place most of the year?

You wouldn't want to be walking it in your bermudas and sandles in January, put it that way

I can definitely recommend a visit all year round. Even though Cork has many beaches, this is definitely among the more beautiful. And even in mid winter there's always some madmen who go into the water..
