At risk of getting "yelled" at for many threads on this subject I'll ask everyone to post their camera and flight settings. Most of the other threads don't have a lot of info in them. I realize that this is very subjective but I think we will see a pattern of settings develop.

Not limited to but including:

Camera:

Video resolution with FPS:

Shaprness, Contrast, Saturation:

Color profile:

Camera still format: 4:3 or 16:9
Jpeg or Raw or Jpeg and Raw

Flight settings:

Any custom settings to smooth out flight characteristics:

Good YouTube videos are welcome as well.

Thanks in advance.

Great idea, did anyone follow up?
Would love to know how others are configuring their MP

Sharpness +1.
Sharpness = 0 makes trees all mushy.
I'm on firmware 0.400 (i think they corrected this in later firmwares).

sorry to inform u, this is not resolved in any new FW..

Just stick to sharpness +1 and you'll be fine..

Camera:

Video resolution with FPS: 24fps (and use ND filters if you want to achieve cinematic blur/feel). 24fps is also best for low light. Lower the shutter speeds, the more light can hit the sensor at a longer period of time. Dont try anything over 30fps as the Mavic's camera does pixel binning, as a result you get bad moire effect.

Shaprness, Contrast, Saturation: +1, 0, 0 (saturation can drop -1 in some cases)

Color profile: D Log for flat "colour canvas" if you want to work in post.

Camera still format: 4:3 or 16:9: Stills 4:3 if want full sensor, 16:9 if you are lazy and dont want the side black borders.
Jpeg or Raw or Jpeg and Raw: RAW if you are doing post. If you are capturing a lot of fast photos then use JPEG for faster write speeds. You will lose detail in compression though.

Flight settings:

Any custom settings to smooth out flight characteristics: Do basic fly over maneuvers/hovers - dont complicate. Try and tell a story.
Watchout for the sun and prop shadows.
Look up tripod mode and EXP settings if you are into smooth panning or movements.

Its a pity they took away ATTI mode. Used to the best setting - just let the quad drift with the wind.
