Pilot error caused my drone to "nest" at about 45'.

Thankfully a friend of a friend had a bucket truck and retrieved it for me.

He is also a drone pilot and I was not his first retrieval but I am very grateful for his help and better educated on what not to do!

This was my 3rd flight and I got froggy.

I'm with Kywon on the location.
That said I have been at literally arm's length from a tree'd drone and not been able to see it.
They can hide well when they want to.
Triggering the "find my drone" beeping and flashing is a good idea.

I’ve added Apple AirTags to all my drones. The beeping noise helps.
ps If you are within 10 feet of a tree you are too close . Just use your ZOOM .

That looks like the tree that ate my 1st drone ($49 toy). But I was hooked by then. Did research and got the Mavic 3 Classic. Went back 4 weeks later to that tree and drone was gone. Glad you got yours back!
