Controller Won't Turn On After Failed Firmware-It's Not Me lol

Ugh, so I got my mavic today, and of course it said "update" so I did...well the firmware update failed for the remote-now it won't turn on!

Simply goes through the normal boot up, and shuts off immediately after "connecting"

Spoke with customer service, looks like it's off to them for fix now...ugh!
At least I can fly via wifi haha.

Is it shutting off while you are holding the second time?
After 6 months it still catches me out how long you have to hold the second press.

Yup haha. After googling and seeing all the issues people have/were with turning it on, I thought it might be me. It's not haha. I can sit there, click it once to show battery, release, click and hold-it starts to boot up and then shuts off without me releasing the button.

I tried 50 different times/combinations of long, short, slightly longer, slightly shorter, longer, longer and even more longer ahaha. It won't boot. I'd try holding it for a minute on the 2nd click/press and still nothing.

This happened after the failed firmware flash.
