Pretty sure they have a well-placed sign that says "no drone" flying as you're approaching the house.

Not trying to give you a hard time, but every time someone flies a drone where someone else has expressly stated that they don't want you to, it just brings more negative attention to the entire hobby.

Unless you had some kind of special permission, in which case I apologize.

never saw that sign. i got there at 6am and the security guard blocking the entrance told me they open at 7am.

he was a really nice guy. I explained to him that i wanted to get some drone footage of the sunrise and he gave me directions to a dead end street in the adjacent neighborhood to fly from.

Yeah, there's definitely a sign, but it's closer to the house. I guess maybe they just don't want you taking off and landing from near the house.

Keep in mind, also, that from that area around the tram driveway, you're only about 2.5 to 3 miles away from the runways at PS International...so just be cautious.
