DJI / LACIE Copilot BOSS

Use it in the field. Connect via cable to my phone and transfer from card to hard drive, then put empty card back in drone.

Couldn't you do the same with any USB OTG supporting smartphone? To USB sticks?

Since internet is slow and sparse where I am in Costa RIca (when I'm there), I send pictures out using WhatsApp. I take pictures using my DSLR (Oly E-620 or E-5), then put the SD card in a USB card reader (micro on one end, USB-A on the other) and send them.
I use a USB OTG adapter to put them on USB sticks.

I think you could do the same with video off the drone's micro SD card, then use a USB OTG cable (micro USB male to female USB A) to put them on a USB stick?

Or Google's new FilesGo (or AirDrop for those in the closed garden)?

I just use an LIghting to SD card cable and and put the micro sd card into an adapter and transfer the photos and video, and transfer everything to my iPad, another simple and cheaper method is just to buy extra micro SD cards and a nice case to store them in. A lot less expensive IMO
