Those of us with uber range extenders suffer from potential low battery issues when going for distance or operating in steep or obstructing terrain. I'd bet that more than a few pairs of BVD's have been sold after such an experience!
So although there are many posts and YouTube videos showing battery mods that are invasive and warranty voiding, I think for around $65 this dual XT60 battery adapter from MAXX UAV is the way to go for dual battery supplementation:

And they also have a really nifty $25 "saddle mount" that holds the batteries saddlebag-style that won't require using super velcro tabs to be attached to your bird, available for the MP and MP2:

It's also available as a free download file for those with access to a 3D printer!
The claims when using the recommended LiPo batteries suggest upwards of 45 minutes of flying time. My order is in and I'll report later on how they do, first with a straight hover test, then for an actual flight. Stay tuned...
