flying drone in Turkey

Ive been in Turkey as a trip

- items : mavic pro, 2 batteries(in the plastic bag seperately), laptop, iphone......etc

- journey : seoul-istanbul(transfer)-kapadoccia-antalya-istanbul-seoul

- airport
1) seoul-ataturk(istanbul) : korean airlines, ok
2) istanbul-kayseri(kapadoccia) : turkish airlines, ok
3) antalya-sabiha(istanbul) : pegasus airlines, ok
4) ataturk(istanbul)-seoul : korean airlines, ok

- cities
1) kapadoccia : everywhere ok
2) antalya : everywhere ok
3) istanbul : you have to ask police, safety guard first. I was not allowed to fly my mavic at Aya sophia, blue mosque, hippodrome
I think that it was bacause of satefy

- I got no permission anyway

The immigration officer did not check the drone at all when you enter the country or while you flying the local flights ?
Im planning to go this october and have mixed result about drone in Turkey

How was your trip with a drone?? Actually .. I have no trouble flying my drone in Turkey except some special place such as AYA SOFYA (huge crowd)
