Flying in France?

Hi all

I'm planning a trip to France (a bit of road trip tour) and be interested in anyone thoughts / experiences of restrictions on drone flight.

I see there is a French geoportal website that provides the no-fly zones and height restrictions; but would be interested in anyone has experienced any other issues with authorities etc.

Just got back from Paris, Dijon and Burgundy. Since the country is on high terror alert, I never took the drone out in Paris. Especially since all the touristy areas were no-fly zones anyways, I decided it was best not to risk it. There was also a huge military/police presence around the main tourist sites so I didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention.

However, I did fly a ton in Burgundy since it was mainly farms/vineyards with very few people around. Just use common sense and you will be fine.
