Friday late afternoon messing around with the MA2 at the 18rd trails. Played with the panoramic photo options. You can clearly see the selective photon consqunses of using a variable ND filter; I left it on just to get a sense of the effect. Short of summer time high noon panoramas I would not utilize any type of polarizing filter.

The first and last photos really look like there was a polarized filter installed; even the second one, to a noticeable extent. That sky gradation does not happen with a standard (non-polarized) filter. You're wise to abandon them; polarized filters only cause trouble.

Some more from today with out any polarizing filters, panos are much better this way. I’m enjoy the camera on the Air 2 much more then the Mini 1 camera. These are from Kokopelli area. MTB trail is Steve’s.
