Gimble problems

So I got a second hand mavric pro .had a test run was all fine .then the gimble stopped working and gimble status came up as na but the camera work just not the gimble and was told to replace the gimble cable witch i have order and waiting for.few questions I have googled like crazy and am not to keen to blow through all the posts on here as there is alot .so when I got the drone the guy was able to calibrate the gimble on his iphone ,I got home installed the app and I don't have a gimble option would this be due to the gimble cable? Pic is the option im missing with red circle .Also I can take pictures but can't record ,I have tried to switch to record but just won't but I recorded a few befor all this happens then stopped, the record button on control also does nothing .I have the latest firmware on control and mavric and a 64gb sd card for 4k video

Make sure the sim card is formatted fat32 and try to setup again.
