Go App Disconnects

After doing the firmware update I once again had the problem that the app disconnects a few minutes after starting. Having looked last time and followed the advice of ArtisFirst on this issue this time justed cleared the app cache, logged out and back in again and all seems to be working again. Are many other people getting these problems after firmware update? Is this something I will have to do after each one?

Interesting... I suffered my 1st ever App disconnect in over 100 flights after the latest update, came as a bit of a shock! Will try the suggest 'fix' if it happens again.

Firmware won't change this and there are two completely different apps... one for iOS and another for Android. Yu may want to mention which you are using as commenting on the wrong one won't apply to your situation.

I'm on an iPhone 7 using DJI go 4.

works fine for me Litchi with new goapp4 firmware
turn off any power saving on phone
turn off usb debugging if it was on
close all other apps
avoid screen recorders as definitely caused app crashes for me
use a phone with some power 3gb and large internal if possible like 64 gb xioami note 4 ideal at 200 euros
delete go app or put in seeerate part of phone which you can with xioami phones
holographic setting should be off in camera in app settings within Litchi
fly away from any interference and cables , buildings, etc
put in airplane mode after caching maps, turns off data and wifi
good signal now!
