You probaly won't have to register the Mini with the FAA, but you should take the TRUST test and keep a copy with you when you fly.

Hey, thanks. I use an app called UAV Forecast and in addition to giving you weather alerts regarding flying conditions, it also has a map that shows you no-fly zones. Pretty cool. And let me know when you're coming and I'll show you around.

I just registered the MA with the FAA and taped the # in the battery slot. TRUST is next on my list!

You need to display the number on the outside.

Inside the battery compartment is not acceptable anymore.
