Given you're in Vancouver, which has fairly restricted airspace, you might find this useful for planning flights:

Note that DJI will let you fly in places where Transport Canada prohibits it (and sometimes won't let you take off when it's perfectly legal).

Also, your Mavic Air weighs over 250 g so must be registered (and you must have a sRPAS certificate). Details here:

The basic sRPAS certification is easy to get. You can buy study guides, but I found this video from Don Joyce good enough:
