Welcome from Chicago. You and me feel the same way longer lasting battery's would work for me as well. Mavic Pilots Forum, is a very useful site to gain confidence, acquire knowledge, to be able to fly your Bird safe. You can check out Mavic Help, concerning longer flight times. Other pilots have modified their birds to gain more flight time. Check out Mavic Tips for more information.
