How would RTH behave in this scenario?

Ok, I'm standing on a 150' high cliff. I launch the Mavic and start descending down the cliff toward the ocean. If it loses signal and goes into RTH, assuming the setting is 30m, will the Mavic ascend 30m above the ocean or above my launch position? Will it smack into the cliff before reaching home or will it fly 30m over the home position and then land?

The second. All heights in DJI-land are referenced to the takeoff point

After descending below the takeoff point, the current altitude will be negative in DJI GO. When RTH is initated, the Mavic will ascend up to 0 feet and then another 98 feet (30 meters) to reach the RTH altitude before it starts flying home.
