Landing with phone on dead battery

Hi guys,

Let's say at some point the iPhone suddenly shuts down due a battery issue.

How to land the drone in this case?

Fly it manually or hit the RTH button...

Nothing changes, if LOS then just fly it back and land normally, if BLOS then hit RTH until you have LOS then the same, no problem.

LOS = Line of Sight
BLOS = Beyond Line of Sight
RTH = Return to Home

Or, the one dreaded option. Wait until the Mavic's battery reaches the preset RTH Battery Low warning and start walking towards the last known location and hope that you see it having landed in between the Home point that was set and the last location it was observed.

This is another great reason to fly LOS as much as possible.

Or, the one dreaded option. Wait until the Mavic's battery reaches the preset RTH Battery Low warning and start walking towards the last known location and hope that you see it having landed in between the Home point that was set and the last location it was observed.

This is another great reason to fly LOS as much as possible.

Plus it's the law (in the US at least)
