I was demonstrating the capabilities of the Mavic sport mode to my family, and then decided it would be a great idea to show off the obstacle avoidance. Well, forgetting to change modes was a dumb idea, and the siding on the house took out a chunk of a propellor. Thankfully, that and a small scrape on the top of the battery after the Mavic's backflip landing on rocks is the only damage sustained. The camera and gimbal survived without damage, and after replacing the prop, she flew like new. Certainly could have been a lot worse.
