Hay just wondering if I start my MP up on like a high point/ at the top of a hill and set home point to there and than fly lower than I am over water and stuff will it still be able to come home or will it just hit the side of the hill?? Thanks.

It should rise up to the pre-assigned RTH altitude above its take-off point. Note that this can cause a very long RTH flight path depending on how far down a mountain you fly. Depending on battery levels, it's probably wiser to cancel the RTH and just fly it straight back manually.

If you fly lower than water you will sink. Otherwise you’ll be okay if I understand your question.
