Any word of a release date?
I've heard 2 different stories from DJI online chat.. 1 engineer quoting yes they are working on it and it will be released soon and another DJI online operator(not an engineer) saying it never will so who knows?

No - and you will not get one either.

DJI dev team have confirmed that an SDK will be made available, but (quite rightly) will not commit to a release date.

It will be released when the PM signs off on it.

It shouldn’t be too long (looking at other DJI drone release v SDK release timeframes) but you will never get DJI to actually commit to a date........

Mavic Mini SDK to come in April 2020 ?
If I trust this Italian site, we will soon have the MM SDK available... ? DJI
