New (Mavic) pilot 1st quick flight

Just got my Mavic a couple of days ago and have been studying and getting ready to fly. I am very new with only a few flights with a Syma X5C before now. I finally felt ready and worked up the courage to fly the Mavic for the first time; I used auto take off, flew it only a few feet in different directions and auto landed. This is so much easier than the Syma I cannot believe. Cannot wait to increase my bravery and confidence and start videoing.
