Hello - New member from MD

Hi Matt...I'm new myself and live over in Bowie. Been retired a couple of years and a friend got me interested in this and we both did the Part 107 thing. I joined a local RC club, PGRC, and do a lot of practice flying at their field which avoids the "you can't fly here" deal that a lot of folks discuss on here (and which is very worth reading for situational awareness). They're even going to teach me how to fly one of the clubs fixed wings. I figure if it goes up into the air, it can't hurt learning about. Take care & safe flying.
