Hi everyone..Will be glad like everyone else when all this Pandemic thing is over and done with get on with my life and particularly drone flying, bit hard with this lockdown atm....Anyway gives me time to try and fix my problems with my Mavic Pro which is Calibrating the joysticks on Controller...When Calibrating I have Drone switched off before I start then proceed, but my problem is the left joystick is always out by 5% going up the left side of the square and the right Joystick is always out by 2% along bottom of square..Have tried several times calibrating to fix this but with no luck always stays the same..Anyone have any ideas TIA

Try untill it gets right. Have seen some take quite a few times if that don't work not sure
what to tell you but someone will post an idea.

Have tried several times calibrating to fix this but with no luck always stays the same

Are you sure you're completing the calibration process? Don't forget to toggle the wheel at the end.

Have tried about 8 times but still no luck, starting to wonder if the remote has some sort of internal problem and needs to be sent to DJI here in Melbourne Aus.

I'm up in SEQ a fair bit, but likely not for the near future at least with border restrictions and isolation rules.

You would normally get more response posting such an inquiry up in this forum section . . . Mavic Pro Help

Are you sure you're completing the calibration process? Don't forget to toggle the wheel at the end.

If this persists, that last link in my reply, read the following few posts to down Mavic air turns on itself

Could be a controller pot gone.

I live on the Gold Coast in Palm Beach great area for some fantastic surf and Hinterland shots but unfortunately some of these areas are No Go Zones, gotta be a bit careful as you know yourself.
Will check out the Mavic Pro Help section see what we can come up with hopefully sort this out sooner rather than later really starting to annoy me and frustrating.

Yeah GC is nice, loads of great beaches to film, but a lot of heli zones . . . not usually a problem, out of NFZ for the airport, you just 'land if you become aware of any aircraft' in the area, and of course flying VLOS and under 120m helps this.

Ultimately, if the problems persist with the sticks despite all efforts, you might be able to pick up a 2nd hand controller fairly reasonably priced.
