Oregon Drone Pilot / State Park Laws?

Hello Everybody,

First post here.

I use to race drones (Very shortly) and recently I bought a Mavic Air. Really sophisticated aircraft and incredibly easy to control.

I live in the city so I dont get to fly it a lot and I'm very well aware of the FAA laws and regulation. Also just having common sense of where and how to operate this hardware.

With this said, I skii and surf and I would love to use it to get footage of that. I've been researching about laws in OR but it seems quite unclear. I know I gotta stay away from areas where wildlife is and no national parks, but what about state regulations, anybody knows about this?

Some of the state parks in Oregon ban drones, but it’s legal if you fly from outside the park boundaries.

Also some of the scenic beaches are still legal to fly on. Hopefully it stays that way.

At the ocean, it’s almost impossible to hear a drone over the sound of the waves anyway, so it’s not like you’re creating a nuisance.
