Does anyone know why DJI changed the Mavic pro to pre-order instead of order?

It's currently not shipping for 6-8 weeks after placing the order in the DJI Store. So, it technically is a pre-order since new orders are not shipping right away.
 
I think its a misuse of the word. "Perorder" is placing an order before it is released. I think "backorder" is a better term to the current situation.

The button text was likely just the result of the new design changes made to the DJI Store. I don't think it's an indication of anything really. The DJI Store always shows the expected delivery time right before paying, so folks really should have their expectations set before paying.
