What is the exact message?

Downward vision sensor calibration error, precision hover and land may fail Controller says sys warning check app. I have reloaded the app and done imu and gimbal checks. Aircraft flys Ok despite the warnings.

It could be as simple as dust, water or sand on the downward vision sensors or transducers. The Mavic sits very low to the ground and the lower sensors can easily be contaminated.

Here are a few things to try:
  • Make sure the downward sensors are clean
  • Make sure nothing is blocking the downward sensors (e.g. 3rd party landing gear)
  • Recalibrate the senors in the DJI Assistant 2 application like this

I have just cleaned the lens as suggested and calibrated also. The Mavic is now back to normal. Thanks to all who replied
