I have the Mavic Bag & although it is functional I've been concerned about the integrity of the Controller sticks when in the bag for general transportation. Yep you can buy protectors online but I decided to McGuyver my own with a piece of 1" thick sponge cut to 5 3/4"x3 1/4" It's the perfect thickness & covers whole front of the controller while in the bag ( see pics )
Measure the location for joystick holes for the Controller which are 4" between center points. Then take a length of 1/2" hot water PVC pipe grind down the end at an angle to make it sharp enough that with a little pressure & spin you can work perfect cutouts for the control sticks.
Fits great in the Mavic bag along with the Mavic itself of course!.........................
