The mount stays connected to the SC and fits fine in my case. So with the quick connect and a single short HDMI cable to connect, the process takes less than 30 seconds. The monitor requires no boot time and I love the ability to see camera view only on it. The weight (although it's only 13.05 oz) may be an issue for some. The setup is well balanced to hold with one hand and is easy to lanyard.
For me, the biggest con is having to have another set of batteries to charge; but what are you going to do...?
