Start but don’t take off?

Hi how can you start the drone and not actually take off , I’ve seen people do it, but by default I think it raises 1.2 m.

Push both joysticks diagonally down and towards the centre. That starts the props but doesn’t take off.

Which model are you talking about?....I know on the Minis there is a symbol on the screen on the left side with an "H" in it ....press and hold that a second and you will see a circle appear towards the middle of the screen...you touch the screen at that point and you will see a green circle start to appear......hold it down until that circle is complete and it will start up and ascend to about 3 feet or so...it won't work unless the home point has been established

If you are switching it on indoors and leaving it sitting direct the output of a fan over it to assist with the cooling and take the gimbal. cover off.

This is the same for all DJI models since the Phantom 2 (can't comment on the Phantom 1).
