Putting aside the fact that it was, as you correctly put it, “bizarre,” it was also terribly written. I’ve seen middle schoolers with a better grasp of sentence structure and writing style. Is sUAS News a legitimate news site? I would not have guessed it based on that article.

That's not so strange for SUAS News who have been on an anti-DJI campaign for ages.

SUAS News is the same news outlet that published some undergrad's paper that they wrote as part of a class at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and gave it press (14 CFR Part 107 (UAS) – Drone Operators Are Not Pilots - sUAS News - The Business of Drones). That paper was riddled with grammatical errors and lots of opinion (yes, I read through it). I do not consider them credible, not one bit.

And it's often quite telling when the author attempts to disguise the lack of facts with contrived indignation.
