Tapfly and gimbal behaviour

As I understand it, in Tapfly the craft follows where the camera is pointing. So what happens if you then angle the gimbal down as you fly over something in order to get a creative shot? Will the craft descend?

No. In Tapfly if goes where you point on the screen. If the camera is level a touch in the middle of the screen will fly at constant altitude. If the camera is pointing down a tap in the middle of the screen will descend.
For reference the app displays a horizontal line that shows where the horizontal level is.
