Titan Drones Antenna boosters new versions (5.8)

I see Titan Drones has a new version of their antenna boosters. Version 2.4 (old) vs 5.8 (new version).

I will call them to find out more but I assume version 5.8 does something with the 5.8 mhz band but am not sure. Anyone else out there know more.... and what would this mean in a suburban city environment with quite a bit of interference.

Not for mavic

They have a red band around them to indicate the difference

OK. So the Mavic does not use the 5.8 frequency band. So I guess until the a Mavic uses 5.8 (if ever) then the original Titan antennas would suffice. True?

If they don't use it now I doubt they will change it, why fit 5.8ghz hardware and have it disabled when its enabled on other drones
