Sorry if this has been posted, but this is very scary to me.
I think it's another example of how a few whack jobs ruin it for the rest of us...
Trump wants to be able track and destroy drones flying over the U.S.

It's begging for a Fourth Amendment challenge if passed, but given the revelations this week about domestic spying and ignoring civil rights the last eight years, I think we're in a better overall environment now for respect of privacy and liberty.

Drones and their data should have approximately the protections afforded cellphones in government hands; i.e. you need a warrant to examine contents without permission.

Yet another "headline" that blows everything out of proportion. I'm not doing anything illegal or stupid with my drone so I'm just fine with it. If some jackass terrorist has strapped a bomb to one and fly it towards a crowd, I'm all for someone being able to stop it before it hurts someone. The only problem I see with it is the same with every other law. The ones that are doing something stupid or illegal are not going to be following the rule to register it in the first place.
