Hi
Im considering using my mobile's Wi-Fi to provide connectivity to my shield tablet/Controller for a new Setup
I wanted to know if attaching the phone to the back of my Tablet, on the controller or very close by, is going to affect the Rx outgoing signal?
I
ve used the same smartphone to fly in the past. So incoming Cellular/Wi-Fi has never been an issue,
but I'm guessing broadcasting it would be a different issue.

Any Help appreciated

It can, you'll have to experiment to see if it does. Probably want to put the phone in a pocket or somewhere further away than right on the back of the tablet.

Only need it for maps. For some reason GO seems to crash less on Shield with a connection.
Theres a startup question saying i have to acknowledge NFZ too, which wont connect without.

I should have clarififed that I was hoping to use the attached phone as a Powerbank.
I need usb power, my phone can act as a powerbank.

Trying to limit cords in a Moverio setup. But anyway i think your both right.

Thanks
