We use Apple Mini 6s and they appear to be functioning properly. We retired the Mini 4s and Mine 5s as they did not have the necessary processing power for the newer flight versions.

Pilot Institute. Greg and his staff are consummate pros. They offer many free courses for drones and GA. Course Materials are professional and vetted. Their part 107 curriculum is top notch.

I have written numerous times on this forum that the mini 4’s processor is incapable of supporting the newer DJI Fly revisions without freeze-ups. A few years back, the Mini 4 offered an acceptable platform, but the evolution of DJI Fly has become too processor intensive for the older platforms...

I read the full report. It did not in any way place blame on the 172. The report indicated numerous procedural failures on the PDs part, which eventually led to changes in their SOPs for their drone operators.

I never use the DJI bags. There are some reasonably priced hard cases on Amazon. if you are going to spend $1K or more on a drone, it makes sense to me to protect your investment. Something the DJI bags do not do very well.

I replaced my Mini 5 with a Mini 6, when the Fly app exceeded the capabilities of the Mini 5 processor. As I have mentioned in previous posts, the Mini 6 barely breaks a sweat. The form factor and the low weight are positive attributes as well.

For a point of comparison, a little less than 2 years ago, I purchased a Mavic Pro w/ 5 flights on it and in like-new condition with a fly more kit and a hard case for $400 shipped from Cali to Virginia. I would suggest that you can locate much better deals than the one you describe.
