I have an S8 and it did the same thing. Now I can't get the app to work. I'll get the connection guide screen but anything I touch flashes for a second and goes back to connection guide screen. Anyone else get this too? I have a mini and 1.4 2 update.

Do you know how long it takes to close a 20m distance between two aircraft? It doesn't take much to damage a rotor on a chopper. On the ground, not too bad, but under 1200 ft, and you stand to lose auto rotation capabilities.

Yes. The same thing happened in Cleveland a month or so ago. While stationed with Exec Flight at DUSAAin 1972, anytime Marine 1 was due in at the Pentagon, we were grounded 1 hour prior and about 20 minutes after they landed. With today's sophisticated assets, it wouldn't surprise me.

I though it also had to do with the purpose of the photo. If it's used for commercial purposes, then you need 107 certification as a commercial pilot. I've also read that a drone pilot, w/o 107, is in violation when he takes a photo of a friend's home for commercial use without compensation.
