I check with flightradar app before each taking off, this is a good help to not income in unwanted interference..but when this is not enough mavic is fast at loosing height when you hear the helicopter, in this way you should be safe..

I got my Mavic back, I have to change propellers and maybe gimbal but the rest seems to be ok..I will do some rth test when is able to fly again..I will also download log to see what really happened, don't want to make the same mistake!

This is my actual drone view... after one month having MPP i got my first lost, I managed to find my drone again stucked on a very high tree in the middle of nothing, was very hard to get there because I had to climb on ice, but at least I am sure no one is gonna stole that thing until I manage...

Is not a waste if you speak about what you could do with Mavic+dogs...following is amazing. Dogs are also good for mavic rescue..I trained my siberian husky to bring me to the drone every time I lose it and it's very usefull, better then gps!!

If Mavic 2 is in production and with the new Intel Movidius VPU, Myriad X, it could finally be the best drone ever! finger crossed!

Putting out with this entusiasm not sure you will find a Mavic very usefull to your need...making video with a gopro or your phone will maybe be enough for you. I really love photography and I am not a professional but I enjoy taking landscape shot with professional equipment, what I found...

I see the actual Mavic Pro fitting in two categories: - Travel drone (foldable, small, long flight timing, very strong performance, quite good 4k camera with cinematic features)... - Race drone (small, very fast in sport mode, reactive and intuitive to pilot) I hope Mavic 2 will keep the same...

Try to be creative, and you will see that your field can be amazing even if is not an island in the middle of the ocean.. I received a MPP for Epiphany and still learning to fly while exploring. I will try to track my dog and see which one I loose first..my Siberian Husky or my Mavic PP! XD

The Mavic Air is cool with few new features that can well replace a MPP, like flight mode and smallest drone with 4k, in fact during presentation he said many times how small it is..but reduced flight time and the fact the camera isn't really improved is a pity and I surely don't need this one...
