The quad tech hasn’t really evolved much in the last 10 years. It is primarily the digital cameras on them that have evolved significantly.

Well, Helicopters are less efficient (bigger rotors), bigger (and power-sucking) motors, and need (Much) bigger batteries in some cases.

3rdof5 replied to the thread Rc Helicopter recommendations.Yes I have and I'm well aware of how dangerous they can be, as well as quads. I'm just surprised that the tech for helicopters hasn't evolved as well as it has for quads.
