Just researched and found mounts on the legs of a mini. Wondering now how much weight that adds and how much shorter the flight time is when using them? It seems as though it would be worth it.

I bought an LED flasher which I velcro onto my mini (1). I had to mount it on the top so I still don't always see my drone, which can get the old heart pumping. I am interested in at least adding SOME fluorescent skin to contrast the darn thing to the sky but I worry about adding too much weight...

I own a 1st generation Mini and have practice flown it indoors a few times. I am amazed at how controllable it is in tight quarters. I just nudge it around yawing, turning, forward and backwards and landing it on our ottoman etc. I need practice on aiming the camera better as the wheel moves...

I own an original 'Mini' and I also have a 'multi' battery charger. My charger appears to charge each battery separately but fully before moving on to the next one. I'm fortunate to get my flight times as advertised, at least so far.

I've done a little bit of Mini flying indoors. I was amazed at how stable it is. My dog sure didn't like it though....He watched it obviously amazed until it flew over him and the wind generated totally freaked him out.... I decided not to tease him that way.... I'm currently waiting for the...

Personally I would recommend the combo. You will soon find that the extras would be something that you'd be buying soon anyway. You are fortunate to have the option for the mini 2. I just bought the mini a few months ago, and although it's a wonderful flyer, I would have enjoyed having USB C...

Paul, I don't have a video but I DO have a home recording of 'Apache' which was the Shadows biggest hit. I learned a version by 'Jorgen Ingram' first, and then heard Hank Marvin's later....So MY rendition used elements of both those recordings.... Just like my videos....I'm not an expert studio...
