Where I live local governments are slightly ahead of DJI. There is no way for a law abiding drone pilot to distinguish themselves from the fools.

And you can do little - I am aware there is a hack to install apps - with the SC except fly the drone.

Budget is not the only concern if you want a bigger display. An iPad 11” is or was well over the cost of the SC.

Protected by whom? if someone talks to me or tackles me while flying a UAS who is going to prosecute it as a felony... for the pilot interruption not the assault.

The privacy concern with a low slow balloon over houses is the same. I think the privacy concern is used most often to restrict drones.

Any idea how much it would cost to have someone with this equipment scan my property? It is about 10 acres near St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal deliverable would be an elevation survey. I have reached a few local surveyors and not yet found any who will do an elevation survey in any manner...
