I think it's ok to fly in the UK now providing you're registered, display the Operator ID on the Drone and keep to the rules below 400ft for you drone type. I have to say though that I am still unsure about my local rules in public parks and the council byelaws. Seems they are still hostile...

I know that park and town. Best to check with the parks trust if it's ok to fly there, I asked and it wasn't permissible to fly anywhere. If it is ok, then I will go fly there too.

You only usually hear the bad news about drones and their flyers. Since all the fuss is about the dangers of drones to people, wildlife and property does this one help to redress the balance when human lives are saved? Lets' have more of these reports in the news and hopefully convince people...

I'm 65 and have floaters in my field of vision so I see loads of drones all the time :) ... What happens when we develop cataracts or other vision impairments but could still see the screen ? Would we have to stop flying ? Regulations on this may vary from country to country too.
