Mavic 2 controller battery draining quickly

I'm late with reply, but take note - M2P controller uses cells in 1S2P configuration, this means 2x1975mAh capacity - exactly what was stated on back of controller. Did you tried just to unplug, wait and re-plug like i described earlier? RC battery replacement

    RC battery replacement

I know that this is old topic, but still, many and many questions with the same problem and also this pops out on google search ;-) DJI did a proper $hit on their remotes and battery handling. Battery itself is fine, but calibration goes off and remote does not hold up. 2x M2P remotes, the same...

    RC battery replacement

No, Mavic 2 Pro battery is different. First of all - it's 1S2P (while others are 1S1P higher capacity) and capacity different. If you know how to solder aluminium tabs - it's not big deal to replace (probably won't find 1975mAh LiHV (!) cells easily, but can use available 1800mAh LiHV cells...

Go beyond maximum altitude of 500m setting?

There is a difference between mavic pro and mavic 2 pro....

    Adjust self leveling sensitivity

Don't think it's possible with mavic at all. Even if you manage to get something like "gyro-only" mode, DJI "manual" mode is known as very crappy, compared to anything (even 8-bit multiwii controllers ;-) ) Micro-wobbles, no "lock-in" feeling, still limited on angles... Another issue - gimbal...

Gatwick Airport (UK) suspends flights due to Drone activity

No. At least in EU (where rules differs, too - here we have 300g limit, in DE it's 250g and so on) - you can build light miniquad, but it will be simply not competetive, so ~400g AUW is where all racing lives. Do you understand, that you just "wipe-off" larger part of RC copter part (not...

Gatwick Airport (UK) suspends flights due to Drone activity

What you are proposing, are basically "all should buy DJI stuff" - no DIY solutions (who will spend $$$ on their custom FC certifications? So far hundreds of custom - not derived - FC designs exist), no INS development (as you need coords, bye Paparazzi and other OSS projects with innovation)...

Gatwick Airport (UK) suspends flights due to Drone activity

Not sure if this is reliable source, but they have few videos (more than just that twitter post): Gatwick Airport chaos: Police send in SNIPERS to shoot down drone | Daily Mail Online But i'm not sure if this is the same airport, so far (no distinctive marks, video could be done anywhere)...

Mavic Pro-2 vs Zoom and P4P - Line Skipping + Sensor Heat?

Def. no, at least on mine it's visible on 25 and 30FPS. I did not tried 24 FPS. Thank you. Strange results, actually, i expected much cleaner output (esp. on non-straight lines, because bicubic would interpolate everything around and everything should become gray mess; expected that lanczos...

Mavic Pro-2 vs Zoom and P4P - Line Skipping + Sensor Heat?

Uh, no. If you are comparing line count - then do not use bicubic resampling for that (if you want to show maximum resolution). Use at least something like lanczos or spline - which keeps sharp lines and details. Bicubic is "smooth" and soft - it's great in most cases, but not for pixel peeping...

Mavic Pro-2 vs Zoom and P4P - Line Skipping + Sensor Heat?

My post has absolutely nothing about "MP" or something. Test can be done in 30s and could help filter out those, who scream that "everything is ok, just add little sharpening in post". Stay on topic. Both pictures in my example end at 4K resolution. By every metric they are 3840X2160 (or 4K)...

Mavic Pro-2 vs Zoom and P4P - Line Skipping + Sensor Heat?

Reading this thread i noticed how agressive some ppl defend own opinion - maybe they really do not see a problem, due to monitor/resolution issues and so on? I suggest doing very simple test on your own mavic 2 pro: take photo (full resolution) resize it to 2704x1520 (with cropping to 16:9, or...
