    DJI Goggles Missing Diopter Adjustment

Yup, VR fog. Better quality reading glasses have anti-fog coatings. I don't know if the DJIG's have it, but wearing the goggles for half and hour with Eyekepper +1.5's for computer use was fine for me. They only have the tortoise-shell one's in +1.5 at the moment. I tried using them without...

    Unlock list

The NFZ "Advanced Unlocking" detail for Australia seems limited at the moment. However, you can check NFZ for Oz by going here: DJI - Fly Safe: No Fly Zones

    Radiation

Let's put this simply. 1. 2.4GHz/5.8GHz is non-ionising. When used in consumer device digital communications, it has very low penetration into the skin - less than 1mm. 2. Microwave ovens do indeed use a similar frequency, but the power is around 900W rather than 100mW used in licence free...

    DJI Goggles Missing Diopter Adjustment

I have presbyopia, so I wear contacts and use glasses for screen work. They worked fine with the DJI google. I also have HTC Vive which has a "hidden" adjustment for the distance between the screen lenses and your eyes. However, this is not a true diopter adjustment. In fact, although a lot of...

    Order & Receive Thread

UK DJI Store: Order: 15th May Delivery: 22nd May Just charging them now. I think orders in the UK are fairly low in number, hence the quick turn around.

DJI to restrict non-compliant drones at next software update

It appears in the UK you can override any restrictions, but it has to be a positive action. I see it as a safety catch for me to be absolutely sure I am not in a no-fly area.

I got the same email from DPD - ordered on 15th May. It looks like a batch are all being delivered on the same day :-)

DJI Goggles are back in Store again!

Just out of curiosity I checked the DJI Googles page on 15/5. They were available for pre-order with delivery for mid-June, so I ordered them. A few hours later I got the "in stock reminder" email. I checked back and found they were back to signing up for notifications. I think DJI are being...

    Fake or not.

Looking at the "fish-eye" curve, I would say it was it's either filmed with a Go Pro and faked onto a DJI screen or it's just outright fake and the faker does not understand only Go Pro have such extremely crapy fish-eye lens cameras.

    Mavic Carbon Props 8330F

DJI seem to think there is an advantage for the larger drones. For the Mavic, making a carbon body version could have some advantages, but just the props, not likely.

    Mavic Carbon Props 8330F

The only CF props I've seen for the Mavic are in fact just plastic. CF reinforced props have some definite advantages, but not pure CF unless they are from a specialist manufacturer. Remember, you can buy CF props for real aircraft, including helicopters, so CF is not an intrinsically worse...

    Dealing with spectators.....

The "perv" comment gets trotted out about many things. It's the passive aggressive go to statement for anything people don't like. Don't let it bother you.

    Mavic Deliveries - UK

Cancel with Apple. They charge an extra 50p and won't have stock until May or June. Meanwhile, those who ordered in February, like me, have already received their Combo units.
